Conferences
Global IT now has its own association-- a working group, really, called IFIP WG 8.7, Informatics in International Business Enterprises . IFIP 8.7 is planning to conduct its first annual meeting in 1997. In addition, Global IT now has regular tracks within established conferences: at HICSS-97 it is called the Global Information Technology mini-track chaired by Bill Chismar, at AIS-96 it is called the Global Information Technology Management mini-track, chaired by Prashant Palvia
