The Health Promotion Program offers two degree programs, the
MS in Health Promotion Management and the BS
in Health Promotion. Both programs are interdisciplinary in nature and prepare students for careers in a variety of settings including: academic institutions, government agencies, private corporations, insurance companies, hospitals, and medical and community groups. Two worksite health promotion centers, managed by the National Center for Health Fitness are staffed by graduate
and undergraduate students in the programs. The department also offers
a wide spectrum of activity classes to the university, many of which are
taught by students of the programs.
