3rd Annual IIHP Meeting 1998 October 11-14 - Washington, DC
A special emphasis will be put on the development of health policy in relation to health promotion. Building alliances and striving towards equity will be two key issues in the health policy discussion. The delegates will represent a variety of sectors (government, non-government, private, education) and disciplines. In addition, renowned speakers have been invited to address theses issues. As a result of the input from IIHP partners, numerous cutting edge topics will be addressed:
Why should you attend? 1. To build partnerships with leaders from government, education, and the private sector in the health promotion field. 2. To present a paper on your specialty area in relation to health promotion. 3. To participate in outcome-oriented and practical working sessions in small groups in an informal and innovative atmosphere expanding on the traditional conference approach. 4. To enhance your professional and personal development through up-to-date information, resources, latest trends, networking. We advise you to arrive in Washington by Sunday afternoon October 11 at the latest and stay until the end of the meeting on October 14 5:00 pm.
