Position: Assistant/Associate Professor

Position: *Assistant/Associate Professor in Health Education
*** Reports to: Chairperson of Kinesiology Department

Scope: Teach a variety of undergraduate health courses required of students in the community and school health education program with an emphasis on physical activity, nutrition and public health. Additional responsibilities include to assist with academic advisement; participate in curricular planning, implementation and evaluation; participate in research/scholarly activities in the field of health education.

This is a full time tenure track position begining Fall 2006 Education/Experience: Earned doctorate in health education, community health, public health education or related field is required. ABDs will be considered. Experience in working with teacher education programs and CHES certification is preferred. Evidence of scholarly productivity and successful university or public school teaching is also preferred.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
