Britta Anderson

Britta is a doctoral candidate in the BCAN program. Her current research interest in the lab is how habitual caffeine consumption is associated with behavior and sleep habits among adolescents, as well as caffeine dependency and withdrawal in adolescents. Britta is interested in assessing habitual caffeine consumption in middle school and high school students via an online survey. She is also working on an interview study about adolescents' experiences with caffeine intoxication through energy drink consumption. We are always looking for middle schools and high schools who would like to collaborate.

Along with working in the lab, Britta works in the research department at the American College of Ob-Gyns on a wide range of topics related to women's health and physician practices, including decision making under conditions of uncertainty and risk.
