Katy EdwardsUndergraduate & Other Degrees Katy is a first year pre-doctoral BCAN student in the BPHP lab. She is interested in research involving nicotine dependence. Her current interests involve better understanding the mechanisms of addiction that continues nicotine use in smokers, and how these mechanisms manifest cognitively and behaviorally. Katy received her BA in psychology from Wake Forest University. Her previous
research looked at whether or not cigarette smoking decreased mind-wandering
