Honors Discounts

To encourage students to take advantage of the myriad cultural treasures that Washington, D.C., offers, each year the University Honors Program purchases groups of tickets to various community events and sells these tickets to Honors students, typically at a significantly reduced rate. Historically, Honors has purchased tickets to concerts, theatre and ballet performances, sports games and other simular events. Honors sells these to students on a first-come, first-served basis.

Throughout the academic year, Honors students learn about these event ticket offers in several ways, including on the Honors Web and "Honors Community" e-mails announcing the latest sale of reduced-price tickets.

Suggestions for ticket purchases can be sent to honors@american.edu.
