International Finance is meant to provide an analytic framework for corporate financial decision making in an international context. In addition, it provides an introduction to global capital markets and financial management in a rapidly integrating world economy. This course covers the international environment, financial challenges and their solutions faced by a globally operating company. Particular emphasis is placed throughout on two guiding themes: international corporate structure and risk management. Topics include: currency risk measurement and management, global financing, modes of foreign investment, international portfolio arbitrage, project finance.
