ALUMNI GIVING

Ways to Give

SIS is the second largest school of International Affairs in the world and the largest in the United States; yet it retains a sense of a community among its eight distinctive fields. The School has more than 60 of its own full-time professors and a complement of distinguished scholars and practitioners. Students entering SIS have among the highest grade point averages, class rank, and combined SAT scores of entering AU freshmen. Our students and faculty come from all 50 states and more than 165 different countries. Additionally, many have in-depth experience outside their home country, adding diversity to our global campus. Funds contributed to the School help to attract and retain scholars and students of international distinction.

The rules of world politics are being rewritten daily as global society seeks to build strength in diversity, use technological changes to confront our similarities and differences, and pursue goals of economic prosperity, environmental harmony, security, and increased democratization. The School challenges its students to confront the issues of this increasingly interdependent world with hope and a belief that graduates truly can "wage peace." Your support plays a vital role in fostering and preserving this important mission.

Please consider augmenting one of the existing SIS endowments or starting a commemorative fund of your own. Donors may target their gifts to the project of their choice and still enjoy university-wide recognition (i.e., President's Circle for gifts of $1000 or more). Donations of any size are welcome.

For more information contact Morris Jackson, Director of Development, or Tina Maynigo, Assistant Director of Development.

There are many projects and programs within the School that are appropriate for financial contributions. Options include the New Davenport Lounge Fund and existing scholarship programs like the Darrell Randall Fellowship for Graduate Students.
