Global Resource Information Database - GRID
The GRID uses geographic information
systems (GIS) and satellite image processing tools for environmental analysis.
GRID is coordinated from the Program Activity Center in Kenya, and has
centers in Brazil, Japan, Nepal, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand,
Canada and the United States. This site offers a high quality tutorial
and data on Remote Sensing applications in Brazil's Amazon rain forest.
GRID includes contact addresses and links to data sets.
