ACES Young Scholars Network | ACES Pre-dissertation Research Grants
The ACES Young Scholars Network brings together Washington, D.C. area graduate students to meet with EU officials, share their research interests, and participate in other ACES activities. Students are involved from American, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins universities. The Young Scholars Network is completely student-run. The staff of the BMW Center for German and European Studies at Georgetown University provides logistical support. Students from the participating universities have elected representatives to a planning committee. Please contact any of its members below for more information about the Network and suggestions for further events. Awards may be used for travel or for other research needs. Graduate students who are conducting EU-related research in a member or affiliate-member university of the ACES consortium are eligible to apply.* An application should consist of the applicant’s name, institutional affiliation, project title and abstract (not to exceed 1000 words), project supervisor (with contact information), and two letters of support.
