Very talented and physical player who can play either guard position,
but will see most of his action this year at the shooting guard position
... will go hard to the basket as well as take and open three ... will
defend strongly.
2003-04
Played in 31 games last year with two starts … had his first double-digit
scoring effort with 10 against St. Francis (Pa.) (12/18) … had an
impressive showing in the Rainbow Classic … scored 14 points and
dished out two assists off the bench against Pepperdine (12/28) …
his career high 22 points against ETSU (12/30) helped AU seal third place
in the Rainbow Classic … scored eight points in his first Patriot
League game against Bucknell (2/7) … dropped 13 points in 17 minutes
in a win over Colgate (1/23) … had his best rebounding totals of
his career (seven) in back to back games against Lafayette (1/30) and
Army (2/1) … set an AU single game record for steals (nine) against
Bucknell (2/7) … provided a huge spark against Bucknell (2/7) by
contributing eight points, four rebounds and two assists in addition to
his nine steals.
Before American
Had a stellar three-year career at The Miller School, and capped it off
by being named Co-State Player of the Year ... other awards he garnered
as a senior include First-Team All-State, Conference Player of the Year,
Central Virginia Player of the Year and Private School Player of the Year
... led The Miller School to back-to-back conference championships and
scored over 1,500 points in his career ... as a senior averaged 25.3 point,
5.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game ... also shot 43 percent from beyond
the three-point line and 62 percent from the field.
