Juan Jaysingh picked up a critical win at No. 6 singles for American.

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Trailing 3-0 after doubles and the first two singles matches, the American University men's tennis team fired back with four straight wins in singles to defeat Florida Atlantic, 4-3.

AU's Guillaume Tarralle earned a win at No. 1 singles over FAU's David Demers, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. Tushar Garg then added a second point in a 6-4, 7-6 win over Kevin Obletz at No. 2 singles. The final and deciding wins came at Nos. 5 and 6 for the Eagles. Juancarlo Vazquez secured a 6-1, 6-4 win over Oscar Plotnik, 6-1, 6-4 at No. 5 while Juan Jaysingh won at No. 6 over Ernest Diaz, 6-3, 6-3.

American will next play Miami while on Spring Break.
