Feb. 7, 2004

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Tushar Garg and Andreas Kulcsar's 8-4 win over Hampton's Seo-Jae Chang and Alin Zorila-DiToui put the pair tied for the AU record for Most Career Wins at 41.

In 2002-03, Kulcsar and Garg also helped lead the Eagles to a second-straight Patriot League title by winning the No. 1 doubles match over Army's Arnie Albornoz and Rafael Albornoz.

Despite a second Guillaume Tarralle and Juancarlo Vazquez over Valter Pavia and Fernando Uehara in the No. 2 spot, the Eagles were unable to secure the victory and fell to the Pirates, 4-3.

In singles action, Vazquez took home a victory, defeating Zorila-DiToui, 6-2, 6-3. Jonah Fleigelman also emerged from a 6-0, 7-6 (5) battle victorious, taking home the Eagles only other singles victory of the day.

The Eagles are now 1-2 overall and will take on UNC-Greensboro, Feb. 8 at 10:00 a.m.
