At Furman: Ran personal bests of 25:50 in cross country and 15:10 in the 5000m in track.
High School: Two-time state qualifier in cross country … finished fifth in cross country senior season … also All-League in cross country.
Personal: Son of Pat and Barry Maurer … has three sisters, Jenny, Stacey and Katie … plans on majoring on sociology and psychology.
