Quintina Walker is
in her third season at American as a Graduate Manager after finishing
an impressive career at William & Mary in 2002. Walker is pursuing
a master's degree in health promotion.
A two-year captain with the Tribe, Walker was named to the Second Team
All-Colonial Athletic Association as a forward in her junior year and
was the team's Most Valuable Player. She finished her career with 739
career rebounds for fourth place on William & Mary's all-time list.
Walker was the first Tribe player to be awarded Rookie of the Year honors
during the 1997-98 season and earned the Co-Coaches Award in her sophomore
campaign.
Walker's coaching experience extends to various camps including Duke University,
Penn State, Virginia and several years at William & Mary. She also
worked with the Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs during
the summer of 2001.
Graduating with a B.A. in Sociology, Walker is a native of Upper Marlboro,
Md.
