ALBANY, N.Y. --
Seniors Marc Hoffer (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Central) and Willie Harris (Washington, D.C./DeMatha) are competing this week at the 72nd annual Division I NCAA Championships at Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y. Hoffer and Harris each won their respective weight classes at the East Regional Tournament on Saturday, Mar. 9, in Millersville, Pa. to qualify for the NCAA competition.

Hoffer, at 149 lbs., is making his third career appearance at the NCAA tournament in 2002. On the first day of competition, Hoffer fell, 11-2, in the first round to No. 12 Scott Frohardt from Air Force. He will now compete in the 149 lbs. consolation bracket beginning on Friday, Mar. 22.

At 125 lbs., Harris lost by decision, 5-2, to Greg Schaefer of Indiana. Harris competed at the NCAA tournament for the first time in 2002, and will also compete in the consolation bracket on Friday, Mar. 22. Harris holds a 19-6 overall record in 2001-02, including an impressive 13-1 dual meet record.
