American Wrestling Falls at Clarion Duals
Eagles off until Triangular Meet in January

CLARION, Pa. -- The American University wrestling team lost in three dual meets Sunday held at Clarion University to fall to 0-5 in dual meets in 2002.

In a 43-7 loss to Kent State, Aviv Bercovicz (Ocean, N.J./Ocean Township) captured a 3-1 decision over Nate Daugherty in the 149-lb. division. AU's Jared Hyman (Norcross, Ga./Norcross) earned a major decision over Mike Neil in the heavyweight division, 19-8.

Dan Lobsenz (Fairfield, Conn./Choate) secured a 6-5 decision over Drexel's Dan Stewart in the 133-lb. class as the Eagles fell to the Dragons, 40-3.

American, which will next compete at Duquesne's Triangular Meets on Jan. 7, also lost to Lock Haven, 46-0.
