Waters Takes Home Only Victory For The Eagles Against Slippery Rock
The Eagles fall to 0-3 overall in dual meets

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – With a forfeit in the heavyweight division, junior Daniel Waters (Laurel, Del./Penn State) took home the Eagles only points and improved his record this season to 20-4, as the Eagles fell to Slippery Rock, 39-9.

Waters took the win for the Eagles by way of a 13-6 decision in the 184 weight class. The transfer from Penn State is currently ranked 27th in the NCAA Division I Leglace rankings.

Sophomore Daniel Lobsenz (Fairfield, Conn./Choate) fell to Cory Mancuso by virtue of a 16-1 technical fall in 3:17, while freshman Dwane Hash-Barbaris, (Rome, N.Y./Scotia Glenville) fell in his first bout of the season with a 15-3 major decision.

With the loss, the Eagles fall to 3-0 in dual meets, while Slippery Rock improves to 2-5. They will look to rebound on Saturday, Jan. 24 as they take on the University of Maryland at noon.
