AU knocked off by Army, 2-1
Rodovsky scores first goal of the game

Natalie Rodovsky scored the first goal of the game versus Army, however, it was not enough as the Cadets defeated the Eagles.

West Point, N.Y. — American University’s Natalie Rodovsky (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) scored the first goal of the game at the 72 minute mark, but it wasn’t enough as the Cadets of Army scored less than a minute later and then the game winner with just eight minutes left in the game.
Rodovsky was assisted by freshman Marcela Ricupero (Monteserrin, Ecuador/Academia Cotopaxi) and she scored it from 15 yards out. For Rodovsky, it was her fourth goal of the year.
Jen Liese (Rushland, Pa./Council Rock) faced 14 shots and picked up five saves in the match.
