Saw most of her action at second and third doubles, teamed with Irina Bovina ... went 6-4 in singles action during the fall campaign, earning wins over opponents from Eastern Michigan, East Tennessee State, West Virginia and George Mason ... opened the fall with four straight wins ... was a combined 6-9 in doubles action for the entire year ... won the Doubles Second Flight at the West Virginia Fall Classic with Bovina.

1999-2000 | Singles | Doubles: Posted a 17-8 mark in her first season with the Eagles... played the #4 and #5 singles positions ... closed out the season 10-9 at the #2 doubles position with Lourdes Riusech and went 4-1 at #3 doubles with Irina Bovina.

High School: Was ranked #159 in the Girls's 18 division in the U.S. in 1998 and #27 in the Southern Section of the USTA ... a five-time state high school runner-up at #1 singles ... North Carolina State Doubles Champion in 1995 ... received the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award in 1998 ... Student Government and Spanish Club President ... recipient of the Morehead scholarship.

Personal: Daughter of John and Mildred Carter ... has one sister, Ashley Bottomley.
