Annual Giving supports all areas of the university, including:

Scholarships – 66 percent of all AU students receive some sort of financial aid, including funds directly from AU. Annual Giving provides AU with the ability to respond timely and effectively to students’ needs.

Library Acquisitions – Annual Giving supports the purchase of books, periodicals, and an ever-growing number of online resources essential for student learning.

Technology Upgrades and Enhancements – Annual Giving allows AU to remain on the cutting edge of technology, innovation that shapes the learning experience.

Faculty Development – Annual Giving serves as a resource to help AU attract and retain the best and most-inspiring professors for our students. 

Campus Operation and Beautification – Annual Giving helps keep the AU campus looking its best and running smoothly, from heating and cooling the dorms and wiring in the classrooms to maintaining the 84 acres designated as a national arboretum.

Student Life – Annual Giving enhances AU students’ intellectual, cultural, physical, spiritual, and social development through clubs, activities, intramural sports, and Greek organizations.
