Arts Campaign

Art Studio

GOAL: $35 MILLION

American University has an international reputation for its outstanding programs in art and performing arts. Now, AU has built two new facilities befitting the stature of the Department of Art and Department of Performing Arts.

The Katzen Arts Center houses the Department of Art and the Department of Performing Arts, centralizing all the arts programs into one building. In addition to classroom space and studios, the AU Museum features multiple exhibits through the year, and the Abramson Family Recital Hall seats 200 and is home to many music and dance performances by talented students and faculty.

The Greenberg Theatre is a 300-seat theatre, replacing the small black box theatre on campus.

To continue to support these programs and the buildings that house them, we need the continued active support of our alumni and friends.

Wonderful opportunities exist to name galleries, special exhibitions, artist studios, performance venues, and to endow scholarships and professorships in the arts. Learn more about naming opportunities at the Katzen Arts Center and Greenberg Theatre by clicking on the icons below.
