About the Author

Jennifer Steen is a part-time MBA student at the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, D.C. Concentrating in Marketing, Jennifer's anticipated graduation date is December, 2007.

Jennifer has her B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management and is currently employed as the Area Director of Revenue Management with InterContinental Hotels Group, a position which she loves. Previously, Jennifer worked in Revenue Management for both Hilton Hotels Corporation and Marriott International. Her experience also includes Internal Audit with Marriott International, and several years of front office operations experience including Front Desk Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, and Front Office Manager positions.
