Michael Paradise’s Connection to Riga Latvia.
Michael “advanced” President Clinton and the U.S. Delegation to Riga Latvia in 1994 coordinating transportation and Presidential motorcade needs for the President’s trip. Michael spent the 4th of July in Riga, which was a wonderful time! He found Riga to be one of the most beautiful cities he ever visited and enjoyed working with the intelligent and friendly people of the country. Michael is pleased to see Latvia developing in the information age and hopes to one day return to Riga and visit other parts of the country as well.
Biography of Michael Paradise
Michael Paradise is a part time student at The American University in Washington, DC working to obtain a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management of Global Information Technology and IT Marketing. Additionally, Michael is employed be the National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses where he serves as the Director of Member Services/Products and Grassroots Lobbying.
Michael has been involved in grassroots political organizing at the local, state, and national level since early 1992. He obtained much of his professional experience working at the national level starting with the '92 Presidential campaign organizing events and logistics nationwide for the Clinton-Gore Campaign. He served in the Clinton Administration under the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Robert B. Reich, as a Special Assistant to the Secretary from 1994 – 1995. He then spent two years organizing political activities at the Democratic National Committee and also worked on the Clinton-Gore ’96 re-election campaign. Michael continues to serve the Clinton-Gore Administration as an “advance person” coordinating logistics and event planning on an as needed basis and most recently for Mrs. Tipper Gore.
Prior to 1992, Michael attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. During his tenure at Duquesne University, Michael served in a number of student leadership positions including Student Body President prior to joining the Clinton for President campaign in early 1992.
