Kids at the Katzen

Kids at Katzen workshop

This program presents children five years of age and older with an array of activities collaboratively designed by the AU Museum and the Art and Performing Arts Departments. Projects relate to a current exhibition at the museum.

All programs run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There is a material fee of $7 (cash only please). Activities are for children ages 5–11 years accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please join our Mailing List so we can keep you informed in advance about future events.

Rescheduled: Feb. 14, 1 p.m.

American University Museum staff and volunteers will encourage children to create a multimedia art work exploring the idea of chance and improvisation inspired by the exhibit Accident and Intent. Participants will meet artist Tom Green, who will talk about his process and selected works from the show. Activities are for children ages 5 to 11 years accompanied by a parent or guardian and will be held at the museum in the Rotunda of the Katzen Arts Center.
