Concerto and Aria Competition 2006 Co-Winner Josiah Lambert, Violin Accompanied by Matthew Van Moose (Photo: Jacob Goodman/The Eagle) Each year the AUSO hosts a Concerto & Aria Competition open to all students of American University — undergraduates and graduates, full and part time. The Department of Performing Arts comes together for this annual celebration of the incredible talent of AU's student musicians. This year's competition will be held at 3:00 p.m. on November 1 & 2 at the Katzen Arts Center's Abramson Family Recital Hall. Winners will perform with the AU Symphony Orchestra.
