Holly Davis

Graduate Research Assistant

Holly Davis joins the CDEM as she begins her Masters in Public Administration at American University, focusing study on election administration and policy. She is a 2006 graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa where she majored in both Sociology, and Child Development and Care Systems. At Cornell, Holly was active in student government and many extracurricular activities, including bringing a polling place to campus to increase voter turnout among students. After college Holly worked three years for the Minnesota State University Student Association, primarily engaging students in higher education issues. Holly also spearheaded a seven-campus civic engagement campaign to educate and engage students in caucuses and elections, and worked with students, other community organizations, and the Minnesota Secretary of State to improve election laws and practices in the state.
