Council on Latin America Certificate Program |

Graduate
degree students in any discipline may choose to participate in American
University's Latin American Studies Certificate Program in order
to certify their expertise about Latin America in addition to their
regular degree. |

| Students in
the program acquire a broad perspective of the region through three
required courses in anthropology, economics, history, international
relations, and literature, and elective courses in language and foreign
studies, politics, and sociology. |
