Debate participation is optional.

You may choose any topic on the syllabus EXCEPT topics on which you have
submitted or will submit a paper.

You will be given ten minutes for each person on your team (3 people =
30 mins); you can divide up the time among speakers and between presentation
and rebuttal as you see fit.

Presentations should be based on the course materials plus additional readings
to be assigned.

Presentations will be graded individually.

Sign up by choosing the "Debate team sign-up" topic on the class discussion
board and following the instructions found there.
