Final Examination
Write an essay of approximately 3500 words describing ways in which technology may change the world in the next 25 years and the challenges that these changes will present for lawmakers.
· This is a take-home exam. The purpose of the exam is to give you an opportunity to demonstrate the breadth and depth of your knowledge of course material (readings and lectures).
· You will be automatically credited with knowledge of the specific area in which you wrote your research project. Do not repeat material from your paper.
· You are not expected to present detailed scientific explanations; the emphasis should be on the implications of scientific developments for law and policy.
· It is important to cover a broad range of issues, but not necessarily every issue covered by the course; you are expected to make an informed selection.
· You may discuss the exam with your classmates, but you must write your own paper.
