Discovering the Chesapeake Bay

Mrs. Gaudette's 5th grade class at Hyde Elementary in Washington, D.C. is learning about the Chesapeake Bay as part of their science and language arts curriculum.  The preservation of the largest estuary in the United States is vital to this ecosystem in the mid-Atlantic region.  To learn about some wildlife in the Bay, to view artwork and photos from the class' Potomac River field trip, and to see pictures and learn more information about the Bay, click on at the right.
