My name
is Danielle Lepore. I am a student in the Master of Arts in
Teaching/Elementary Education program at American University in Washington
D.C. I am currently a teacher's aide at Janney Elementary School
in Northwest Washington, where I assist in a first grade classroom.
In Mrs.
McCrackin's first grade classroom, we have a pet mouse. Her name
is Speedy. All of the kids love her, and spend as much time as they can
watching her. This web site is inspired by Speedy. My hope is that
this site will help kids (and their parents) learn how to take care of
pet mice, as well as learn about mice in general.
