Hi! I am Adriana.  I am from Bogota,  Colombia.  I am studying at American University and I am majoring in elementary education.  I tutor at the Latin America Youth Center, and I believe that by shaping the lives of children and educating them, our world can be a better place.  Music is also a part of me, I have  played the violin for 8 years, and I belong to AU's orchestra.  I believe we can all contibute to the benefit of our world, and that is why I agree very much with what Mitch Albon once said:
"So many people walk around with a meaningless life.  They seem half-sleep, even when they are busy doing things they think are important.  This is because they are chasing the wrong things.  The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself into loving others, devote yoursel to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."
