Research Interests
My principal research interests lie in the theory of
automorphic forms and the representation theory of p-adic
groups. On the automorphic side, I have studied some questions
involving algebraic modular forms on various groups and the Galois
representations which are conjectured to correspond to them. On the
p-adic side, I have computed newforms and fixed-vectors for
representations of certain
p-adic groups. I have also been studying some questions
involving the base change lift for unitary groups and other instances
of Langlands functoriality for general linear groups over division
algebras. Additionally, I have been studying the correlation between
the nonvanishing of L-functions attached to certain automorphic
and p-adic representations and the distinguishedness of these
representation with respect to tori.
