The events of recent weeks have brought the American University campus together in free and open discussion and debate. In response to the spirit of the October 27 memo sent to campus from the vice chair and chair elect of the Board of Trustees to engage in constructive dialogue and open communication on the topic of board governance, we provide a web-page dedicated to the postings and discussions of various AU campus constituencies on this topic. The fact that so many members of this university community have expressed themselves with passion and eloquence is an indication of their deep commitment to the goal of advancing the mission of academic excellence at American University.
