In the year following the creation of AU Abroad, AU moved up in its national ranking from 12 th to 8th among doctoral/research institutions for the number of undergraduate students who studied abroad during their college years, according to a survey by the Institute for International Education.

American Students: Study Abroad Programs

AU Abroad Partners offer the independent student a chance to be fully immersed within the academic, social, and work environment abroad. AU Abroad's Enclaves provide a fully administered semester that includes college courses, interesting speakers, challenging internships, and some local cultural excursions.
