Information Technology Landscape in Kenya

My name is Doris Kimutai. I am currently a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from American University. My anticipated date of graduation is May, 2002. My undergraduate degree was in Business Administration from University of Evansville.

I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya..........the main reason why I decided to do this project on Information Technology  landscape in Kenya. After completing this project I realized that I did not know a lot about my own country. This project gave me an opportunity to learn a lot about where Kenya stands as compared to other countries. I must say it was very disturbing. Of course there are many reasons behind it. I hope that soon there will be some new developments in the Information Technology area.
