IT GEOGRAPHICS

Nairobi
Kenya does not have any IT zones comparable to Silicon Valley, and information on technology parks is not known. However, there are some IT firms in Nairobi, which is the capital city. Nairobi area is 689 square kilometers, which includes the 120 square kilometers of the Nairobi Game Park and all of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The main commercial and official area lies almost entirely within the central block: within the University Way, Koinange Street, Haile Selassie Avenue, and Tom Mboya Street quadrangle.
There is no information available on IT R&D parks or IT incubators.
