My name is Jelani; I am a graduate student at American University, getting my Masters in Information Systems.  Jamaica is the birthplace of my parents, my mom is from St. Ann and my father is from Kingston.  I lived in Jamaica for about 7 years.  I lived in Savanna-La-Mar and went to primary school there.  Common information about Jamaica is generally limited to knowledge of  vacation spots and marijuana (or we call it Ganja).  But Jamaica has far more to offer.
