About the author

Mangal Kumar is a second year Masters of Business Administration candidate at the Kogod School of Business, American University in Washington DC, and is due to graduate at the end of the Fall 2003. He is an IT and Project management Professional with over five years work experience as an analyst and project manager in the field of Information Systems and Communication Technology. Mangal has pursued dual MBA concentrations in Management of Global Information Technology and Corporate Finance. He has his undergraduate degree in Engineering.

His choice of India as the focus of this research project was driven by his bonding to his work as management professional in India.
