Saltlec is India’s first fully integrated Electronics Complex in Salt Lake City, Kolkata. This STP is a 150 acre green, pollution-free, high-tech industrial zone which reflects Webel’s infrastructure creation programme, designed to provide companies with world-class start-up services and facilities. As of Jun 2002, 160 companies employing over 12,500 people, world-class institutions, training and research centers - major enterprises from India and overseas - are located there.(22)
