Welcome and thank you for visiting my project web site.

This assignment is for an 8-week "short" course given in the second year of the MBA. As an elective in the Management of Global Information Technology concentration, the objectives is for students to understand all dimensions of the landscape of IT at the national level. This includes the ability to conduct a national IT assessment for any nation and analyze the implications for the globally-competing firm.

The principal project in the class is an in-depth analysis of all IT-related issues in a country of our choice. Because of my interest in Africa and desire to at some point in career work abroad, I narrowed my choices to Ghana, Senegal and Zimbabwe. Upon consulting with Professor William B. Garrison, we decided to select Ghana since it was experiencing several successes (including having hosted President Clinton during his Historical Mission to Africa in April 1998). Here's a mini-briefing on Ghana.

I am open to and welcome your feedback and questions, which can be sent through email. When you're done reviewing the Ghana Information Infrastructure site, I encourage you to visit my classmates' projects on the course syllabus page. We have worked diligently to learn web page design while researching content for sites.
