Dr. Guy Levy-Yurista is Director, Market Development, Messaging, AOL.   In his previous role, he led AOL’s Anti-Malware product team, responsible for launching AOL’s key security products including anti-virus, firewall, spyware and phishing protection.. Prior to joining AOL, he led Market Development for the Israeli-American start-up CeLight, a revolutionary optical communications company. At CeLight he led the company’s successful transformation into the Defense market, securing millions of dollars in R & D budget allocations.
 
Dr. Levy-Yurista specializes in commercializing advanced technologies in dynamic market environments. He holds in-depth knowledge of internet, communications, cyber-security and optical technologies.  He is an experienced entrepreneur and a venture capitalist having served in a $150 Israeli venture fund, leading its optical communications investment strategy.
 
Dr. Levy-Yurista holds a PhD in Physics and is about earn his MBA from the Wharton business school (University of Pennsylvania).  He is a Captain (reserve) in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces, where he served for 8 years as a graduate of the elite academic military program “Talpiot.”  Forbes described "Talpiot" in a June 1998 article as: “Talpiot is like having a Rhodes scholarship, a presidential fellowship, and a Harvard MBA rolled into one.”
