Year-end Coursework Revisions and Updates
Formal Papers (50%)
- Due date for Formal Paper #4--April 30
- Reminder: Your fourth formal paper is worth 12.5% of your course grade
- Due date for all outstanding revisions--Wednesday, May 5
Informal and In-class Essays (15%)
- Total of 9 in-formal essays + 2 in-class essays = 11 essays
- From these 11, choose the best 9--one of which must be an in-class
essay (this means you may use 2 in-class and 7 informal essays)
NOTE: This is a change from our discussion in class on Friday,
April 16
Ejournals (10%)
- Total of 10 mandatory entries plus one optionalfor extra credit (to
be assigned the last week of class)
- All entries count toward grade; none will be dropped!
Portfolio (20%)
- Attendance at and preparation for portfolio conference count toward
portfolio grade.
- Attendance at and preparation for portfolio workshop count toward portfolio
grade.
Instructors Discretion (5%)
- My perception of your motivation, attitude and effort in this course.
