| Virginia Gold Cup, Here we Come! Join the Young Alumni Chapter for the 79th running of the Virginia Gold Cup on May 1! Be part of University Row, as YAC partners with the Capital Alumni Network at one of the oldest steeplechase events in the country. This year AU will partner with tent-anchor George Washington University. Tent and bus tickets are $80 and will increase to $85 in the near future. Tickets include transportation to the event from Ballston Common Mall in Ballston, Va., access to University Row, food throughout the day, and an open bar. The buses depart Ballston Common Mall at 9:30 a.m. and return at 6:00 p.m. To buy tickets, click on the following link: http://www.dcalum.org/events/universityrow.cfm. Once you click on "Buy Tickets” a new browser page will open. After reading the rules, click on “I agree.” Then, click on the AU ticket option.
