March 2005

It’s such a treat to leave the office in daylight again. The students are probably happy for the longer days, too, now that they're back from spring break in all corners of the globe and getting in high gear to write those last papers and prepare for finals.

Speaking of hard work and long preparation, we're proud to annouce that AU students garnered more Presidential Management Fellows this year than any other university. Is there an alum you think award-worthy? If so, now's the time to nominate him or her for this year's Alumni Awards.

In other news, after many alumni requests and much discussion by AU staffers, American magazine is now online. The paper version we’re constantly striving to keep fresh and interesting will continue to hit alumni mailboxes across the world three times a year. But now, Web surfers can access the many features and profiles, too: http://american.edu/magazine.

Got alumni news? Feel free to share it. Happy spring!

All the best-
