December 2008
It’s hard to believe 2008 is rapidly coming to a close. As such, it’s a perfect time to take stock of the past year and assess our plans for the future.
To be sure, 2008 was a busy, successful, and exciting year to be involved with AU alumni. From our involvement with the campus-wide Strategic Planning Process, to the excitement of Alumni & Family Weekend, to our just-completed Alumni Board elections, it has been a very busy and productive year. At alumni events across the country and here in Washington, I have felt a new sense of energy and enthusiasm among AU alumni. Indeed, it’s clear that 2008 has been a year where AU alumni stepped forward with a renewed sense of commitment and dedication that positions us for a fantastic year ahead.
In 2009, I hope you’ll find a way to become more actively involved with your fellow alumni. There are so many ways to give back to AU – via your time, your talents, and your resources. Join me in helping AU live up to its full potential. I look forward to working with you in 2009!
Enjoy the holiday season.
Sincerely,
Brian F. Keane, SPA-SOC/BA '89 |
