American Word has been examining campus issues since Fall 1999. We exist to provide an in-depth look at the news that matters to students, and we strive to present as many angles of a story as possible. We believe this approach fosters dialogue and understanding among the campus community.

This magazine also provides student writers with an outlet for producing their best feature, investigative, and commentary work in a laid-back and friendly environment. We always welcome submissions, new members, and feedback.
