Strategies in Stress Reduction

Strategies in Stress Reduction is designed to provide students with a broad knowledge of stress and to teach a holistic approach to stress management. The nature and causes of stress, its effect on the human body, and both cognitive behavioral approaches as well as relaxation techniques to control stress are addressed. Students take inventory of their own personal stressors and integrate appropriate coping strategies to mediate stress and promote health into their personal lifestyles.
